When you make a booking, you are agreeing to adhere to our Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for park users

This is a park I have worked on tirelessly for the community. Let's keep it clean, use it respectfully, so that we can all enjoy it.

The following terms and conditions refer to both owners and dogs.

They will be reviewed regularly, particularly during the park’s opening months. Thereafter, the terms will be reviewed monthly.

General

  • Use of the park is by booking online only

  • For cancellations within 24 hours, you will not be refunded

  • Planning permission currently is 4 dogs maximum in the park for any one booking.

  • Bookings are non-transferable to other people.

  • The owner reserves the right to cancel any booking made due to an emergency, park conditions or inclement weather.  A full refund will be issued in the listed cases.

  • Your booking time includes the time required to secure your dogs in the park and to return them safely to your vehicle.

  • Customers must vacate the car park no later than within 5 minutes of the end of their booking.  We recommend you allow a couple of minutes to exit the field safely.

  • If your dogs are showing signs of illness, such as vomiting or diarrhoea, please hold off on coming to the park until they are well again.

On Arrival

  • Customers, please park within the designated car park areas.

  • All vehicles parked within the park boundaries are left at the owner's own risk.  We accept no responsibility for any accidents or damage caused while parked on site.

  • Please keep your dog on a leash until you are in the secure area of the park, and all gates are closed.

  • Arriving bookings, please keep your dog secure in the car until the departing booking has left the premises.

In the Park

  • Owners of dogs will pay in full for any damage to the park, equipment or property.

  • Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.

  • Do not let your dog dig holes; any holes must be reported via the contact on the website.  These become a trip hazard.

  • The park is on a croft in the countryside, where the ground is uneven, so we recommend outdoor footwear. We are not liable for any injuries.

  • Please be conscious of our neighbours and your noise levels.

  • Do not encourage behaviour that would, in turn, encourage excessive barking.

  • Do not persistently shout at dogs at the top of your voice – especially with bad language.

  • Do not play music at loud levels within the seating area.

  • Dog owners retain full responsibility for their dogs at all times while using the facility. While the park owners will maintain the perimeter fencing to appropriate standards, no liability is accepted for dogs escaping from the premises.

  • Dog owners must remove all dog waste from the park and dispose of it in the designated waste bin provided. Failure to remove dog waste may result in suspension of booking privileges.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Parents/guardians are responsible for children's safety.

  • Whilst I would love to have a smoking-free park, I know this is not possible, so for the sake of the dogs, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM THROWING CIGARETTE ENDS AROUND THE PARK - THIS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.   In the bins or take them home.

  • No smoking in the PolyCrub

  • NO RECREATIONAL DRUGS TO BE USED IN THE PARK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Owners must assess whether this facility is suitable for their dog's individual capabilities and behaviour. Dogs known to jump fences of 6 feet or higher should not use this park. By booking, owners acknowledge they have assessed their dog's suitability for the facility and accept full responsibility for any escape or related incident.

If you are concerned about items or equipment placed in the park for dogs' use, please refrain from using them.  The owners of the park will not be held responsible for any accidents in the park or issues arising.

Dogs will not need to be vaccinated, according to the local vet.

You may use the field with an XL Bully or other banned dog breed, provided that:

  • Certificate of Exemption: Owners must have a valid Certificate of Exemption to keep an XL Bully dog.

  • Insurance: Third-party public liability insurance is required for the dog's lifetime.

  • Please provide us with proof of your IED & Insurance paperwork after booking and before your first attendance.

  • Neutering and Microchipping: Dogs must be neutered and microchipped in accordance with government regulations.

  • The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field

  • You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secure field

  • The dog needs to be put back on the lead and muzzled before the gate is opened to leave the field.

  • The dog handler-to-XL Bully ratio is 1:1 at all times, and the handler must be over 16 years old.

  • If a household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together, provided there is at least 1 handler per XL Bully.

  • Please do not share the field with dogs and people who are not from your household.

We hope you feel welcome in our park and on our croft.

Thank you for supporting our venture.
